An airport facility is being developed as part of VANPIC Project, near Ongole, to fulfill the captive cargo and passenger demand arising from VANPIC Project and also acting as a regional feeder for air traffic to and from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Vishakapatnam etc.

Field investigations & surveys, feasibility studies and preliminary environmental studies have been completed. Site grading, levelling, clearing and fencing works have been initiated.

VANPIC has obtained NOC from Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India for construction of Greenfield Airport. The Airport Authority of India (AAI) and Ministry fo Civil Aviation (MOCA), Govt. of India, have granted site clearance for the development of Greenfield Airport.
